In more than 70% of cases, patients saw in their dreams their loved ones who had died long ago.

According to them, in a dream they communicated, everyone was joyful and talked a lot.

29% of respondents reported that they dreamed of people who were alive, but due to the fact that fate had separated them at one time, they had not seen each other for many years.

In 59% of cases, near-death dreams were associated with travel and pleasant chores for this reason: people packed their suitcases, purchased tickets, and many relatives came to see them off, both those who were alive and those who had long since passed away.

Some respondents recalled that in such dreams they could resolve all their unresolved questions and problems in reality that had not been resolved for years.

And another 28% dreamed of memories in the form of important events in their lives, joyful and dramatic moments... Most often, these memories were woven from a feeling of happiness.

As the survey showed, before they passed away, they often dreamed of their pets, which were no longer alive. The pets returned to them and played.

The scientists who conducted the study have not yet given an exact interpretation of what such dreams mean: after all, travel, communication with relatives, and vivid visions can be dreamed by many people who live safely into old age.

But, one way or another, according to one of the hypotheses put forward by experts, pleasant and joyful dreams are caused by the body’s need to calm the nervous system in order to allow the consciousness to prepare for the inevitable departure from life.
