  • In ancient times, the presence of a large number of moles on a person’s face and body made him a creature endowed with magical powers. Such an image, found in dreams, is also shrouded in an aura of mystery and strangeness. Why moles are seen in dreams is explained differently by interpreters. This can be either a good sign or a kind of warning about an impending illness. In order to correctly interpret a dream, it is important to pay attention to the little things that accompany it.

    Explanation of dream books

    Compilers of dream books have different interpretations of what moles mean in dreams.

    Interpreter of Dmitry and Nadezhda Zima

    Dmitry and Nadezhda Zima point out that any spots that appear on the body are a sign of a person’s existing talents and abilities. They can influence personality development, both positively and negatively. Seeing beautiful and symmetrical spots in a dream means good luck. Ugly moles indicate that there is some negative trait in the dreamer’s character that does not suit him.

    Modern combined dream book

    Specks seen in a dream, which in reality are not on the human body, are a sign of an unexpected meeting with family and friends. Seeing a large mole means troubles associated with the arrival of unexpected guests. Removing a spot means adding to the family. Well, if such a dream was seen by a pregnant woman, it means that childbirth will not be the fastest and easiest.

    Aesop's explanations

    According to Aesop, if you dream about moles, it means that there is a meeting with relatives ahead. If any of the spots were larger than the others, then a conversation is coming with a loved one who occupies an influential position. Most likely, it is this relative who will influence the future life of the sleeping person.

    If you dreamed of a lot of moles, then it is better to postpone meeting with numerous relatives. In addition, such a dream can predict misfortune. Removing spots surgically means that gossip and rumors will bypass the dreamer. But getting rid of birthmarks on your own will aggravate the problems that arise due to the behavior of the sleeping person.

    To tear off a mole through negligence means that in reality the dreamer will receive unpleasant news from relatives. Seeing in a dream how spots appear on the skin of a sleeping person means the appearance of new acquaintances who would like to become close friends. However, it is worth carefully choosing people who will become soul mates in the future.

    Miller's Interpreter

    According to Miller's interpreter, looking at birthmarks on a loved one is a sign of a quiet and happy family life. If the dreamer begins to appear new moles in the night plot, it means that he will be able to avoid minor troubles in the future.

    The newest dream book of G. Ivanov

    A mole appears in a dream - a sign of pleasant surprises. Removing it will lead to the development of skin diseases.

    Interpreter of birthdays of May, June, July, August

    Seeing moles in night dreams is a sign of a date with a new lover. For a family man, such a dream means that feelings for a partner will flare up with renewed vigor.

    Interpreter of birthdays of September, October, December

    The presented interpreter assures that seeing something like this in a dream is a sign of imminent news of the illness of one of the parents.

    Interpreter of birthdays of January, February, March, April

    I dreamed about a mole - to the birth of a new family member.

    Dream book of the 21st century

    According to the 21st century dream book, to see moles in a dream means in reality to witness how shortcomings manifest themselves in loved ones.

    Dream Book of the Wanderer

    The Wanderer’s dream book states that if moles were the main image in night dreams, it means that a lot of happy events await the sleeper.

    Esoteric dream book

    According to the interpreter presented, birthmarks dream of trouble. Seeing them on someone else’s body means problems on the part of that person.

    Collection of dream books

    The interpretation according to the presented dream book is based on the fact that the image portends a happy and measured life for the dreamer.

    Muslim dream book

    The Islamic dream book indicates that moles seen in a dream predict a warm meeting with loved ones.

    What was she like?

    The interpretation of the dream is possible depending on its appearance:

    • small, neat - a sign that you have some talent;
    • pretty - plans will be successfully realized;
    • big, ugly - you have shortcomings, but there is no willpower to change;
    • with hairs - an event will happen that will change your life.

    How does the location of moles affect the interpretation of dreams?

    When interpreting dreams, you should pay close attention to where exactly the birthmarks were located. Their location also affects the meaning of the dream.

    Body

    Seeing moles on the body is a sign of troubles that are unlikely to cause positive emotions. Most likely, the dreamer will experience illness or difficulties in communicating with business partners. You should be careful in the near future.

    Hands

    To see birthmarks on your hand in a dream means you have influential relatives. If there are a lot of moles on the hands, it means that they will more than once help the dreamer get out of trouble and will help improve the quality of his life. It is important to maintain a warm relationship with them. Otherwise, the dreamer may be left without their support.

    Back

    If the birthmarks in the dream were on the back, it means that recognition awaits the dreamer in the future. His financial condition will improve, and those around him will finally begin to treat him with due respect. However, if a person does not value what he has, he will soon lose everything and be left alone.

    Face

    Birthmarks on the face in a dream are a sign of gossip and rumors that will be spread by the enemies of the sleeping person. A large mole on the forehead usually warns of an imminent serious illness. Spots on the cheek indicate despair, which will arise when the sleeper tries to improve his unstable financial condition.

    Head

    Moles on the head are harbingers of illness. If they grew up in a dream, it means that the sleeper stubbornly does not notice the signals that his own body sends him. In this case, it will be more difficult to fight the disease and you will have to spend a lot of resources, both material and mental, to eliminate it.

    Legs

    Seeing moles on your legs in a dream is a good sign for those who have problems. All of them will be resolved soon. Moles on the leg indicate that not only relatives, but also friends will come to help.

    Neck

    If you dreamed of birthmarks on the neck, it means that the dreamer always has his own opinion. And it doesn’t matter that it differs from the opinion of most of his friends, because he firmly knows what he wants in life and what he is striving for.

    Breast

    Seeing moles on the chest in a dream means that it is time for the sleeper to stop rushing from one extreme to another. It is worth deciding what is more important to him and moving in that direction.

    Stomach

    Birthmarks on the stomach are a sign of passion, which will soon overwhelm the dreamer. If a man has a similar night vision, it means he should choose a companion more carefully or stop dating several women at once.

    A fan appears, receive a gift

    For a girl, a dream about an attractive spot adorning her face foreshadows the appearance of a persistent admirer. He will turn out to be handsome and very promising.

    An excellent omen when a mole in a dream was located so that it can only be seen in the mirror. The dream promises: you will soon receive a gift.

    From self-criticism to narcissism

    When deciphering what a dreamed birthmark promises, it is worth taking into account all its locations on your body, dream oracles suggest. So, if it was:

    • on the leg up to the knee - you will soon hit the road;
    • on the leg above the knee - a long-awaited meeting with your family awaits you;
    • on the buttocks - you are very self-critical, do not underestimate yourself;
    • on the chest - you are very worried about others;
    • on the genitals - you dream of starting a family;
    • near the lips - you spend a lot of time on narcissism;
    • on your feet - let Fate rule your life.

    Founder's Story – Vascular Mole Foundation

    In 1994 I gave birth to my daughter Christina. This was the first miracle that occurred as a result of her birth. In 1979 I was told that I would never conceive due to lack of estrogen. It was terrible for me. I loved children. Because I dreamed of becoming a mother, I became a licensed foster parent in New York State in 1985. Little did I know that God had other, bigger plans for me. I conceived Christina in 1993 without any medical intervention. The doctor did not admit that it was a miracle, he simply said: “Sometimes these things happen.” I knew it was a miracle and gave God all the glory.

    Six weeks after Christina was born, around mid-March 1994, I noticed blisters forming on her lower lip. I took her to the pediatrician and he said it was a hemangioma. He said it would go away when she turned two and not to worry about it. With each passing week, the size of the lesion doubled and tripled. I learned of a dermatologist in my area who knew about hemangiomas, so I took Christina to him when she was 3 months old. He took pictures of her hemangiomas as they grew every 4 weeks; no treatment options have been offered yet. By the time she was 7 months old, the lesion was the size of a golf ball. Her lower lip drooped and the hemangioma began to move towards her chin. Then someone from work told me about an expert from Boston. Christina was 7 and a half months old when I took her to him. He said I should have gotten her there sooner so she could be treated with steroids. I was devastated to learn that there were treatment options and a window of opportunity in which steroids would be effective, and I missed that window. I asked him why the pediatrician didn't tell me this. He said vascular moles remain the most misunderstood anomaly in the medical field. He said only a few doctors can accurately diagnose and properly treat these lesions. He prescribed Christina steroids, but they did not help - it was too late. Her only option was multiple surgeries or nothing. Nothing was an option for me.

    The night we returned home from Boston, I knelt down and prayed. I made a deal with God. I promised Him that if He could help me find a doctor who would make my daughter normal, I would dedicate my life to helping parents who suffer from vascular moles. At night I had a dream. In a dream, God told me that I was going to start a foundation, write a book, and raise a million dollars, all to cure vascular moles. It was October 1994. Two weeks later, I applied to become a DBA with the Hemangioma helpline. This date, October 1994, is VBF's birthday.

    In June 1995, I sent photographs of Christina to Dr. Milton Waner. Remember, in 1995 there was no Internet. There was also no book on hemangiomas or other vascular birthmarks for parents, no international foundation, and very few doctors who knew how to diagnose and treat these lesions. Dr. Waner called me a week after he sent him photos of Christina. He told me, “I can make your daughter look normal in one two-hour outpatient procedure.” I knew God had answered my prayers. Christine had surgery the following month when she was 18 months old. True to his word, two hours after the surgery began, Dr. Waner gave my daughter a normal lip. We didn't even recognize her because we hadn't seen her with a normal lip since she was six weeks old. That's when I knew Dr. Waner was the one I was going to write the book with.

    In September 1995, a month after Christina's surgery, I changed the name from the Hemangiomas Hotline and filed official 501c3 paperwork on behalf of the Hemangioma and Vascular Mole Foundation (I knew we would treat other lesions, not just hemangiomas.) Name has been changed to the current Vascular Mole Foundation. In 1996, Dr. Waner and I began working on our book entitled Moles, A Guide to Hemangiomas and Vascular Malformations. The book was published in 1997 and remains the first book for parents on this topic.

    In 1996, together with Dr. Martin Mihm, our director of research, we founded the Vascular Anomalies Clinic at Albany Medical Center. We continue to help establish another clinic in Boston at Massachusetts General Hospital, one in Buffalo, New York; Charleston, South Carolina and several others outside the US.

    Christina is perfect today. From photographs of her, there is no indication that there was ever a golf ball-sized tumor on her lower lip. VBF has enrolled thousands of children and adults in treatment. In 2001, I wrote a chapter in a medical textbook on the topic of vascular moles of the head and neck (thanks to a grant we received from the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Albany, New York, we were able to donate 500 copies of this medical textbook to 130 medical schools USA and Canada), and in March 2000, I was the only lay person to speak as a faculty member at the American Academy of Dermatology conference. In 2008, I received my PhD in Education. My dissertation focused on identifying the acute stress that parents face when giving birth to a child with a facial mole. Today I am considered a non-expert in the world on these lesions. An honor that comes from a promise I made to God. A promise that I still keep today, because every year there are still 40,000 children born with vascular lesions, and this requires the opinion of a specialist doctor. My latest miracle is the breakthrough I achieved with the American Academy of Pediatrics. After meeting with the President of the AAP in 2012, my recommendations for children with moles were accepted. These recommendations would require every primary care physician to refer an infant with a mole to an appropriate specialist. In 2011 I also founded VBF iTEAM. I have assembled a team of experts in vascular anomalies who travel to different countries to train doctors in those countries on how to diagnose and treat these lesions. In 2012, our first iTEAM trip was to Moscow, Russia. During this trip, more than 125 children were treated free of charge, and in the first year of its existence, more than 400 children were treated.

    I am also interested in vascular tumor research and work on it with our team of high-quality research experts. Finding the cause will inevitably lead to a cure, and we are very close to finding the cause. I believe, as does our research team, that this generation will see a cure.

    VBF has grown to become the world's leading non-profit organization in providing information resources to families affected by vascular moles. We have a wonderful board of directors and medical advisors made up of people who have had personal experience with vascular moles and doctors who want to help them. Without these people, VBF would not be where it is. VBF sponsors an annual medical conference designed to provide physicians and their families with the latest information on the diagnosis and treatment of vascular lesions. At these conferences we also host an informal clinic where each patient is seen by a team of national experts in vascular disease.

    I made a deal with God in 1995. He did His part by letting Dr. Waner remove Christina's hemangioma. To this day, I continue to fulfill my role by providing information resources to families affected by vascular disease.

    Remember the beginning of my story, where I told you about my first miracle, the birth of my daughter Christina? A second miracle occurred, a rebirth - the birth of the Vascular Mole Foundation. And I can proudly say that I am the mother of both. May God bless you and your family. I pray that VBF changes your life for the better, as it has changed mine.

    My "vision" for the future of VBF is that we will have a multi-specialty treatment center in every state in the country and in every country outside the United States. I also want to see the day when all doctors graduating from medical school have the knowledge to accurately diagnose and treat vascular lesions. Finally, I pray to see the day when research will point to the cause and ultimately a cure for all vascular lesions.

    Treatment

    To the question of how to treat papillomas in intimate places , modern medicine gives a clear answer: they need to be removed. Destruction of benign neoplasms can be carried out using various methods:

    • electrocoagulation – exposure to high frequency current;
    • cryodestruction - removal using cold treatment;
    • laser removal – layer-by-layer treatment with laser radiation;
    • chemical destruction - using special chemical solutions.

    Classic surgical removal is also an option.

    A specific scheme for how to completely and safely remove papillomas in intimate places is prescribed by a specialist in accordance with the localization of the process, the severity of the course, and concomitant diseases.

    An important aspect of treating papillomas in intimate places is changing lifestyle and strengthening the immune system. An integrated approach avoids the emergence of new formations.

    Causes of papillomas

    The cause of the appearance of papillomas in intimate places is the human papillomavirus (HPV), which circulates in the blood of almost every man and woman, starting from adolescence.
    According to WHO, 80-90% of the population is infected with HPV. Most often, papillomas occur in young people who have a large number of sexual partners. Genital-anal papillomas are typical manifestations of human papillomavirus infection. In 90% of cases they are caused by the sixth and eleventh types of HPV.

    In the daily life of every person, the following exposures increase the risk of infection:

    • smoking;
    • stress;
    • using other people's hygiene products;
    • visiting baths, saunas;
    • shaking hands with carriers at the acute stage;
    • decreased immunity.

    Globally, the spread of HPV is influenced by many factors, including socioeconomic, medical, hygienic and geographic. The virus can stay in the body for years without showing itself. Its activation is provoked by a weakening of the protective forces of the immune system, which entails the appearance of papillomas in intimate places, both in women and men.

    Pregnancy, hormonal imbalances, metabolic disorders, acute viral infections, long-term chronic diseases, poor nutrition and lack of sleep can also trigger the growth of papillomas in intimate places.
