Sandcastle Kisses is one of my favorites so far It starts right in the thick of things, and while you may not immediately know what's going on with everything, it's

Sandcastle Kisses is one of my favorites. It starts right in the thick of things, and while you may not immediately know what's going on with everything, it's really interesting. Izzy is hired to tend bar at a private party and suddenly finds out that she has an assistant in Noah. Everyone at the party knows each other except Izzy. From there, things progress into a bit of fun between the guys as they tease her about not knowing who they are (they're billionaires, haha) and then a friendly bet is made. Overall it's just a fun time with the atmosphere reminiscent of a quiet bar with good friends.
However, after that first night, things get a little more complicated. Noah is a good person and begins to tease and flirt with Izzie. But he's a tourist, so she knows he's leaving. They can't have anything lasting or "real" in her mind because whatever they have together will only be for a few days. It doesn't really help that she only bartends to try and make money to help fund a research project... and while they have a huge amount of tension and connection from the start, there might actually be some serious tension between them. really soon...
I loved Sandcastle Kisses! It has all the hallmarks of the other Kisses books, but with its own little twist. I thought this one had a little more tension than some of the others, almost bordering on mild romantic suspense. Izzy and Noah's connection feels very real and I loved how they came together throughout the story. You know, it didn't feel fast or forced. It was natural and correct.
If you like the Kisses books, I think you'll definitely like this one. If you haven't read any of the others, this is a really good place to start. It has some sweet and funny parts, some with a little spice, and some serious and suspenseful parts. Overall, it's just a great story that I highly recommend!
