It's no secret that when a person feels bad, he seeks consolation in something he believes in. For one it is alcohol, for another it is a certified psychologist, for a third it is a friend’s vest, for a fourth it is God! Not everyone recognizes its existence, but in difficult moments, almost everyone cries out: “God, why am I doing this?” The question, of course, may seem rhetorical, but not for everyone. There are people who sincerely believe in the Almighty! They pray to him, make sacrifices, talk in their sleep! And the Lord answers them! Also in a dream. Are you wondering what such a dream means? We open dream books, ask, get an answer! Join us, it will be interesting!
Christian God
Seeing an ancient icon of Jesus Christ, the son of God, means in real life you need protection and patronage. Don't be shy, ask those in power for help.
Praying to God in a dream means asking for help and protection from a patron in reality.
If you dreamed that you saw God praying, you committed an unpleasant act, which you greatly regret. Don’t beat yourself up, repent and ask for forgiveness from those you offended.
You dream that you are God, and you are sitting high in the sky above the clouds and, looking down, you see many people asking for protection - someone close to you will need help. Don't neglect your friends, help, no matter how difficult it is for you.
If you dreamed that you were watching God appear to people, in reality you will have the opportunity to believe in miracles. A pleasant surprise awaits you.
If you dream that you saw two angels talking to each other, this means that in reality you will hear some news. Depending on whether these angels are light or dark, there will be conversations. Bright cherubs - the news will please, dark angels of death - the news will be bad.
Does God speak through dreams today? Prophetic and other types of dreams
All people on earth have dreams. They can be fabulous and scary, peaceful and disturbing, meaningless and important. For Christians, dreams have a special meaning - this is another way when God can speak to us. We have collected the opinions of ministers on the importance of dreams and especially on the phenomenon of prophetic dreams.
Valery Tatarkin, author of the book “Returning to the Origins of Christian Doctrine”
God in the Bible said that dreams are prophetic, given by Him (dreams of Pharaoh, the Babylonian king, Joseph...). But there are also simple dreams, of which there are more!
“For the teraphim speak vain things, and prophets see false things, and tell lying dreams; they console with emptiness; therefore they wander like sheep, and are in misery, because there is no shepherd” (Zech. 10:2).
“For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Do not let your prophets who are among you and your fortunetellers deceive you; and do not listen to the dreams that you dream…” (Jer. 29:8).
“For in a multitude of dreams, as in a multitude of words, there is much vanity” (Eccl. 5:6).
You need to know that the dreams given by God are special. In the Bible, which describes the life of God's people over a period of several thousand years, they were very rare. At the same time, no one could interpret prophetic dreams, but only God’s prophets. Attention (!): God's prophets are not ordinary people, but righteous people who always clearly honor the Law of God - His commandments, broadcasting reproofs, admonitions to the people, dreams and visions from the Creator and teaching people to believe only in the One Living God!

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams” (Acts 2:17).
Dreams are the language of the spiritual world. If a person is an unbeliever, then the devil can speak through this channel. But we know from Scripture that God can also speak to pagans - to warn, to admonish, to instruct, and to lead to repentance - especially if someone intercedes for that person. We, as Christians, can pray for our unsaved relatives and friends, so that the Holy Spirit speaks to them through dreams. If a person is a Christian, then God can very often lead through dreams, warn, instruct, talk about the future, about a calling, and teach something. Dreams are completely different.
Here are some categories of dreams:
1. Prophetic dreams. In such dreams, God shows us our future, our calling, but the story should not end there. Such a dream is like a starting point. Next, we must begin to pray for all this to happen, because the devil can steal it.
2. Sleep warnings. In dreams, God warns us of what the devil is going to do to us. Upon awakening, we must destroy this attack in prayer, in the name of Jesus, and nullify the enemy's plan. Also through dream warnings we can see an attack on our family and friends, whether they are believers or not, we can destroy the devil's plan over their lives. If God shows us this, then we are capable, as spiritual beings, of reacting instantly and solving a problem in the spiritual world. I have done this more than once in relation to both believers and non-believers. God loves everyone and wants to take care of everyone equally - He needs employees for this who are not indifferent to people, just as God is not indifferent.
3. God's visit. Through such dreams we can see Jesus, Angels, people in the image of Jesus. In such dreams we can see ourselves dancing with Jesus, talking with Him, walking through flowery places together. After such dreams, we feel God’s love and acceptance, we are confident that God is not indifferent to us.
4. Dreams about spiritual warfare. Through such dreams, God shows us either what is currently happening in the spiritual world, or what may happen. We can change the course of this war if we begin to pray intercessory prayer. This may concern our personal life, the life of loved ones, the church or the country.
5. Sleep-training . Through this type of dream, God teaches us and explains things that we in the natural world do not see or understand. After such dreams, everything falls into place and many questions disappear - both in relation to personal life and in relation to those who are close to us in life and in relation to the church. We can talk a lot about this type of sleep and in more detail. But it’s more convenient to do this in private, when you have a specific dream. It's very interesting and exciting. I really love this type of dreams.
6. There is a type of dream where we see what awaits us or our loved ones in the future , but this cannot be changed - it will happen and we will not be able to do anything. God shows us this in advance and prepares us morally for what we need to experience or overcome. This is not easy to accept and agree with, but after this we can remain in prayer of humility and purification before God. This makes us stronger, brings us closer to God, we become spiritually stronger and grow, overcoming certain difficulties. After such seasons, we can become a support and example for others who are also entering or have entered this phase.
PRINCIPLES OF INTERPRETATION
All of these dreams require understanding and interpretation so that there are no questions hanging in the air.
The very first principle of interpretation is to write down your dream so as not to forget all the details and details. Usually, as soon as you wake up, you either immediately have an understanding of the dream, or you have to turn to the help of an interpreter.
Second : if you yourself do not understand what this dream means, then you can turn to brothers and sisters who are anointed and moving in the field of interpretation for help. It is also useful to turn to your pastor for an interpretation, because he, as your spiritual mentor, can know what God is talking to you about.
Next, in order to understand your dreams, it is useful to turn to ministers of authority in the Body of Christ who specifically teach this topic. Personally, I have learned a lot through the prophet and minister John Paul Jackson (he is already with the Father in heaven). There are many books, video and audio lessons online through which you can learn a lot and also receive the anointing to interpret dreams.
First Corinthians 12:30 says, “…are all interpreters?” The Word says that not all are interpreters. We all serve each other for edification, for the building of the house of God. If you don't understand your dream, that's okay—you can seek an interpretation. May the Lord bless you and help you to have wisdom in this area, in Jesus name.

John Paul Jackson's teaching on Dreams and Mysteries:
Alexander Steinhardt, Prophetic Culture ministry (Essen, Germany)
A person spends a third or a quarter of his life sleeping and it is not surprising that God uses sleep to speak to a person's heart. Sleep is part of a relationship with God, where God can put certain thoughts or even take the soul away (Job 33:15-18) from wrong enterprise or pride, as in the case of Laban and Jacob.
“And it shall come to pass after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions” (Joel 2:28). The prophet clearly says that the consequences of the Holy Spirit dwelling on us and in us (and this is what the New Testament emphasizes) the elders will dream. Typically, many people think that this is the lot of older people, but I am sure that Scripture speaks more about the spiritual age and maturity of a person, and not just about physical age. Because a spiritually mature person who knows the Scriptures, understands the language of symbols, and has trained his senses to distinguish between good and evil is able to interpret dreams. It was the correct interpretation of dreams that played a decisive role in the formation of biblical history, and not simply the presence of the dreams themselves. God speaks in dreams to both believers and non-believers, but understanding dreams is the lot of spiritually mature people. Much of Scripture describes dreams and their consequences. For this reason, we need to not just “watch” dreams, but to set our hearts and be attentive to dreams, study the matter, grow in maturity to be able to understand the symbolic language of dreams when they come from God.

Vladimir Bukhtin, head of the spiritual and educational project for youth “Lord of Fate” (Kyiv, Ukraine)
Sleep: 1) A physiological state of rest and rest that occurs at certain intervals, during which the work of consciousness completely or partially stops; 2.) What is dreamed is dreamed by the sleeper, a dream.
This is the generally accepted understanding of what sleep is. A person spends a third of his life sleeping. If you live to be 90 years old, 30 of them will be spent sleeping. This is a significant period of time and therefore it is important to understand if possible and try to understand what is happening at this time, and how to perceive and relate to the information flow that comes through dreams.
Does everyone dream? Scientists have proven that everyone has dreams, and if a person “does not dream,” then something blocks the memories after sleep or the memory of what happened in the dream.
The Bible mentions the words sleep, dreams and visions 427 times in the Old Testament and about 80 in the New Testament This is a lot and therefore, I think this is a very important topic for a Christian, too.
Abraham and Joseph and Jacob had dreams. Through dreams, God spoke to kings, judges, and prophets.
“God speaks to people in dreams, perhaps in visions at night, when their sleep is deep. Then they are afraid when they hear the Lord’s warnings” (Job 33:14).
“Sleeptime” is a time of sometimes supernatural intervention of God in human life. God can “induce” sleep so that a person does not interfere with God’s plans. A dream can “attack” a person in order to evoke certain feelings and this will change the person’s behavior and actions.
For me, sleep is a channel of communication with God. I have always had dreams, since childhood. I believe that dreams, as a channel of communication, are especially present in the lives of people with the prophetic gift by grace.
In the New Testament, Mary and Joseph, Peter and Paul had dreams. “And at the descent of the Holy Spirit, on the day of Pentecost, Peter immediately spoke the prophecy of the prophet Joel: “And in these last days,” says God, “I will pour out My Spirit on all people.” Both your daughters and your sons will prophesy, and your young men will have visions, and your old men will dream dreams” (Acts 2:17).
There is a difference between a dream and a vision.
Dreams contain meanings, they are allegorical in nature, there are many images that you need to reflect on and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit. Visions are more literal. As you can see, it is so.
For example, in a dream, a train symbolizes ministry in the Holy Spirit, and in a vision, a train is a train, a means of transportation along certain paths.
At the beginning of my Christian journey, God gave me more visions. Performances that I later saw and still see to this day. And now these are more dreams with various images and symbols that need to be “worked on.” “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2).
Dreams are a powerful thing; they help people enter into service. Dreams can change a person's destiny. For me, dreams are clues from God. God gives me the most clear and clear dreams precisely at key moments, when there is an urgent question about some situation or person. What to do next? Is it worth interacting with a specific person?
There is a special type of dreams, as John Paul Jackson called them - “flush dreams”, in which you do something unnatural, something that does not correspond to the nature of God and without knowing about this type of dreams - it can frighten and upset you. Through such dreams, God simply “washes away” some negative impact from a person with whom there was communication and who is under the influence or dependence of some unclean spirit, obvious sin. In general, this is a very broad and serious topic on which it is worth developing and reflecting on yourself. It is worth asking God for further confirmation of dreams, through the Word and other channels of communication with the Author and Creator of Life. “And he said: Hear my words: if there is a prophet of the Lord among you, then I reveal myself to him in a vision, I speak to him in a dream” (Numbers 12:6).

Interpretation of the dream God: G. Miller's dream book
God, Mother of God - I dreamed of God - this does not promise anything good.
A despotic woman may take power over you. If you see that God is speaking to you, then be careful, you may be condemned. Your affairs will not be successful either. A dream about God foreshadows poor health and can mean sudden death. If you dreamed of praying to God, then repentance and deep regret for what you have done awaits you. To see that God is favorable to you means that you will receive the patronage of a very famous person who will lead you to success.

Contact with the Creator
If you dreamed that you were talking to the Lord, your leader will want to communicate with you. Remember what your conversation with God was about, you will talk about the same thing with your superiors.
If you dream that you hear the voice of God, but do not answer it, in reality you will meet an influential person who will have a great influence on your life. Whether this is good or bad is up to you to decide.
If you dreamed that you were looking at sculptures of Egyptian gods, this means you have a long trip ahead, most likely a business one, suggests Miller’s dream book.
To ask for forgiveness from the Lord God means that you are offended by someone and are waiting for the offender to take the first step towards reconciliation, suggests the dream book of Eastern sages.
Calling and talking to the Holy Trinity in a dream means your company has become uninteresting for you, you feel “close-minded” next to them or, on the contrary, a “nerd.” Stop communicating with them for a while, you will soon realize that you are bored without them.
Color in a dream
Color in a dream related to God is very symbolic. Remember, perhaps your attention was attracted by the color of the Lord’s clothing or the object that he held in his hands or handed to you?
- White – purity, innocence. Receiving something white as a gift from the Almighty in a dream is a sign of your spiritual purity.
- Black – sadness. Has the Almighty appeared to you in black? There are difficult times ahead for you, but bright times will still come after them, and since God came in a dream, it means he is with you.
- Red, purple are a symbol of spiritual passion and sacred rage. Perhaps you will be overcome by some powerful desire or feeling.
- Blue – elevation, height. Literally and figuratively, you need to climb somewhere up in order to know God’s providence.
- Yellow is the color of joy and money. There is probably a bright streak ahead of you.
- Green – blossoming, fertility. Maybe you already had the feeling that your destiny is somehow connected with the earth and everything that blooms and grows on it?
- Blue is a symbol of depth. This can be the depth of knowledge, the depth of feelings, the depth of faith. A very powerful and positive sign in a dream.
In any case, the Almighty seen in a dream is a very significant omen. Take this dream carefully and seriously. Author: Maria Serova
